Lost/Found a Pet
Pet
Owners
·
Keep your pets at home. Don’t let them roam!!
·
Cats and dogs should always wear visible ID – collar, ID tag and
license where applicable. It is
also advisable for them to have a permanent microchip implanted between their
shoulder blades. Your veterinarian
can do this. Even indoor cats should wear visible identification, just in case!
·
Spay or neuter all cats and dogs – they will be less likely to
want to roam.
·
Use a leash when your dog or cat is outside.
·
Take a picture of your pet and keep it handy in case he/she gets
lost.

advise you to check with us every day.
·
Many lost pets from across the Island are brought into the P.E.I. Humane
Society shelter. Please check with us frequently. While we make
every effort to help you find your pet, we do not know your pet. A
