Did you know that it costs the PEI Humane Society $15 per day for each companion animal in our care? And that the average length of stay at the Shelter is 20 days? That’s $300, not counting the health assessments, vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgery.

While in our care, we give all companion animals:

• Heath assessments
• Vaccinations
• Flea prevention and de-worming
• When they are adopted, we give all dogs cats, rabbits and ferrets
• Microchip permanent pet ID
• Spay or neuter surgery

How your donation can help

$25 provides microchip pet IDs for 4 animals

$50 provides vaccinations for 3 dogs or 6 cats

$75 pays for 1 cat spay

$100 pays for 1 rabbit or 2 cat spays

A $10 monthly donation for one year can help pay for all the necessary steps to get a dog ready for adoption
