Thank you to James Black from Kooky Kat Catnip for donating 5 lbs of high quality catnip for the cats in our Shelter and to use in making our awesome fundraising cat nip toys.

Thank You Morell Regional High School!

Avery MacCormack, Bethany Coffin, Kelsey Mackinnon, Kaitlyn MacDonald, and Jill Nicholson from Morell Regional High School organized a Holiday raffle which raised $900.00 for the Society. This generous gift will go towards our Kennel Sponsorship Program and will allow us to purchase a good quality camera to use at the Shelter and at Special Events. Way to go Stratford Elementary!

With the help of Ms. Lanigan’s Grade 5 class at Stratford Elementary School, Eve, Jessica, and Yasmine organized the “Change for Change” fundraising event. They collected coins, sold handmade key chains, and held a bake sale. In just three short weeks, they raised $1000 and a basket full of toys, collars and leashes for the animals at the Society! 2011 News Years resolution done!

Last New Years, Rachel’s resolution was to raise $200 for the animals at the Society. With the help of her friend Sydney, they surpassed their goal and raised a total of $356!

AVC students give homeless animals early Christmas gifts

AVC Student Chapter of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians coordinated a “Giving Tree” fundraiser to accept donations from students, faculty, and staff at the AVC for the Society.

Recycling is a win-win

Dalbert and Tabitha Livingstone of Island Auto Supply present a $3000 donation on behalf of the Automotive Recyclers Association of Atlantic Canada to Lisa Hashie, PEIHS Development Coordinator.

Angela and her friends opened their hearts

Thank you to Angela, Stan, Adam, Danielle, Ben, Crystal, Devon, Ian, Donnie, Daniel, Chelsea, Natalie, Grundy, Foch, Nancy, Heidi, Mandy, Amyl and Vanessa who held a Christmas party and collected donations for the animals at the Society

 

 

Mr. Madren opened his heart

The MacKay Clan opened their hearts

The MacKay family dropped off these delicious muffins for the volunteers and staff here at the Shelter.  And they didn’t leave empty handed … they opened their hearts for a new family member, Neptune the puppy!
